Nintendo Slashes Profit Forecast



Gamespot is reporting in this article that Nintendo has slashed their profits forecast by $200,000,000. "Nintendo claims that the main reason for its lower profits is a larger than expected currency-related loss, believed to be in the region of 68 billion yen (US$654 million), caused by the yen's surge against the U.S. dollar." However, they reaffirmed their sales forcasts for the coming year. Either they're confident the GCN will continue to sell well or they're hoping for a rebound in the currency market. Here's hoping they're right...
