R&B/Hip Hop atists Mary J. Blige, Eve & Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott are joining the growing ranks of dissenting artists in working against the incumbent President Bush this year. As reported in this Yahoo Story, Blige and company are teaming up to record "Wake Up Everybody," a remake of a '76 track by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes created, at the time, to riase black voter's interest in Jimmy Carter's campaign. The new track will be included on an album in support of America Coming Together, an anti-Bush organization which targets swing-voters.
